I am an Associate Professor at the Political Science Institute of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, where I am also affiliated to the Center of International Studies and the Center of Asian Studies. Currently I am a Fellow of the Chilean Fund for Scientific and Technological Development. Also, I am Editor of Revista de Ciencia Política.
I received my PhD joint-degree from the University of São Paulo and King's College London in the field of International Relations. I research issues related to International Political Economy, with a focus on emerging powers, particularly Brazil and China. Before, I was a scholar of the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) and a researcher at CAENI.
