I am an Associate Professor at the Political Science Institute of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, where I am also affiliated to the Center of International Studies and the Center of Asian Studies. I direct ICLAC, a Millennium Nucleus grant funded by the Ministry of Science of Chile.Between 2022 and 2023 I was a Fellow of the Wilson Center in Washington DC, and I am a Fellow of the Chilean Fund for Scientific and Technological Development. Also, I am Editor of Revista de Ciencia Política.I received my PhD joint-degree from the University of São Paulo and King's College London in the field of International Relations.
